Cattlemex should be your buyer for stocker cattle. We purchase cattle at the price that you require, with the performance that you need.

Cattle

Stocker cattle can be a risky venture, especially considering the higher purchase price that many operators are paying on cattle right now. In order to reduce those risks, you need to protect your investment by acquiring your cattle for less than your competitors.

Experience & Expertise

The Cattlemex process begins when we purchase the cattle. We have the abilities and expertise of identifying and handling sick animals before buying cattle with unknown health backgrounds. If you want to reduce the health risk, purchase cattle that are preconditioned and from a known source.

We have the experience and knowledge to assist you in selecting the correct cattle for your requirements and locale, be they in the feedlot or the pasture. Contact Cattlemex to see how you can achieve the optimum performance that you demand out of your live investment.

Why Mexico?

Presently, Mexico enjoys a locational advantage in the production and shipment of stocker cattle to the United States and beyond. The U.S. is currently experiencing a deficit in domestic production.

For the last several years there has been an increase in the number of cattle coming into the United States from Mexico. Many of you have purchased some of these cattle as stockers or feeders. Why have Mexican cattle been attractive to United States cattlemen? There could be several answers to this question. However, I think the two most popular answers are that Mexican calves are generally thin and healthy.

When U.S. cattlemen have access to Mexican calves they can accumulate large numbers of light-weight calves much quicker because of their health. Unfortunately though, there have been many times when U.S. cattlemen have been unable to purchase these calves.

The Mexican State of Chihuahua, which lies just south of New Mexico and part of Texas, is the largest cattle producing state in Mexico. Chihuahua is the origin of most of the cattle that come across the border into the U.S. As a company, Cattlemex is composed of principals from both Chihuahua, Mexico and the U.S. and, by purchasing your cattle through Cattlemex you, in effect, "cut out the middleman."
